What service is provided?
Centre Based Day Care for the Aged - We have wheel chair accessible vehicles. Transport is provided for clients who live in the East Lake Macquarie area. Morning tea, refreshments and lunch is provided with special dietary needs catered for.
Peer Support for People with Disability - Social support is provided for people with a disability aged 16 to 64 years who live at home in the Lake Macquarie or Newcastle areas. Support is provided to the client as well as giving a break to the carer.
Activities - May include art, music, sports days, cooking, and reading. Popular outings include ten-pin bowling, scenic drives, picnics, galleries , movies and museums. Biala offers carers a break from their caring role. We also provide links to support, information and advocacy services.
